First up was our monthly virtual meeting with Dorset Council. These meetings have proved invaluable over the past two years and enable MPs, councillors and their officials to keep in touch. The session lasted for an hour, covering a range of topics. I then headed to Weymouth to drop a bottle of whisky signed by the Prime Minister at Westfield Arts College. It's a wonderful special school which is holding a raffle to raise funds. Then back to Blandford to visit a very special, elderly lady, who I have known all my life and is now 96. To me she is Mrs B and I adore her. We had a special 40 minutes together, reminiscing about the 'good-old-days', and they truly were. Off to Wareham next to drop a laptop and to meet the head of The Purbeck School, Adam Darley. The PM for the area, Michael Tomlinson, was not able to attend, but I spent a invaluable hour or so chatting with Adam and enjoying a quick tour. Back to the office until 1800.
