Up to the Commons first thing. A series of meetings throughout the day, including one with Team Boris. Iain Duncan Smith has become Chairman, through whom we MPs can channel our thoughts. Meanwhile, Boris is all the place, pressing the flesh. The story of the photograph will not go away, but surely there are bigger issues to talk about. Much constituency work done, including chasing up all the facts on Budmouth College, which is going through a rough patch. Parents are not happy with the academy provider and there's the question of the school's debt which is substantial and who should pay it. The college is in Oliver Letwin's constituency, but many children from mine attend so we are working together to try and resolve the impasse. Supper with my eldest son ended the day.
