Had a useful and informative visit to St Mary and St Joseph's RC Primary School in Wool, run by Mrs Brown. This was a long-standing visit and gave me a chance to catch up with the school's news and problems. Our meeting was in confidence, but I was given plenty of food to digest! Then out and about meeting prospective constituents. Heading home in the evening, I saw a police officer holding on to a horse on the side of the road near the Morden crossroads, so I stopped to see if I could help. The officer told me that he and a colleague had managed to catch the horse which was causing havoc on the A35 as it charged down the road, simply terrified. Anyway, as we were catching, the much-relieved owners skidded to a halt in their 4x4 and reclaimed their horse. All was well!
