On the day of the Royal Wedding, I headed to Northampton to attend a Thanksgiving Service to celebrate the life of a very old family friend. My eldest son is named after him, such was his influence on my young life. As the sun shone for Harry and Meghan at Windsor, so it did for us. What a day. It wasn't until I arrived at a friend's house where we stayed on Saturday night that I had the opportunity to watch a recording of the wedding. I shall not bore you here with a long articulation of the wedding, except to say that I thought the event was stunning . How well we do this and no doubt the countless millions who watched it felt the same. There's no doubt that Bishop Curry stole the show with his passionate address, which, despite its length, caught the mood somehow. Love was his theme and I don't think anyone would argue with that. A great spectacle and I wish the bride and groom all the happiness in the world.
