The start of another week in lock-down, a state of affairs that will be reviewed next week. How long the country can remain in this situation is a question that everyone is asking. Certainly, we have all been reminded just how devastating this virus is with the PM moved to intensive care last night. We learnt that his coronavirus symptoms "worsened". The Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab is deputising. He said that it was too early to consider breaking the lock-down, adding that the current measures were "beginning to work". My parliamentary team continues to work flat out, helping as many constituents as we can. I am now attending regular conference calls with local organisations, which are most helpful. Dorset Council is working round the clock and their output is most impressive, and I must thank all the staff there who really are rising to the challenge.
