What a lovely day. A lot of constituency correspondence to catch up on. Grandchildren staying, too, so hands full. Labour was in a mess as it suspended a second parliamentary candidate after allegations he made unacceptable comments about Israel. There is no doubt Labour has a problem with anti-Semitism. Corbyn's refusal to do anything about it was disgraceful, but he's man who calls terrorists 'friends'. Although Starmer has tried to give Labour a gentler face, the mask continues to slip. And, let's not forget that Starmer stood four-square behind Corbyn when he was Leader. Having been a huge fan of radio DJ Steve Wright, I was genuinely sad to hear he had died at the age of 69. His mix of easy chat and quirky humour kept millions happy during his three hour afternoon show on Radio 2. In other news, the Body Shop's UK business had entered administration, potentially putting up to 2,000 jobs at risk. And the alleged mastermind of an armed robbery which killed a police officer and saw another seriously injured denied murder on the first day of his trial.
