A sad day, as it was a year ago that my dear Papa passed away. A morning run, into the House, and down to the Chamber for PMQs at midday. This week Corbyn decided to aim his six questions at buses. He almost rants nowadays, which is no doubt an act for his social media site, where his view of the world is broadcast. Anyway, after the weekly punch-up, Michael Gove came to the Chamber to make a Statement on the future of fishing. You can read what he said on my website. I raised the question of the three proposed MCZs along S Dorset's coast and sought his reassurance that, if implemented, they would not damage the local fishing fleet, especially the rod and line and shell fishermen. He kindly offered a meeting with either himself or a minister with my fishermen, which we are currently trying to organise. It's not easy getting fishermen together as they tend to be out fishing! The Ivory Bill passed its Third Reading and the day ended at about 1800.
