John Redwood, MP for Wokingham and Chairman of the Conservative Parliamentary Economic Affairs Committee, will speak at a dinner held by the South Dorset Conservatives Supper Club in Weymouth on Thursday, February 23rd.
Formerly a Minister of State in the Department for Trade and Industry, and later Minister for Local Government and Inner Cities, Redwood has gained a reputation for competence and hard hitting campaigns.
He is renowned as a speaker and as a former businessman, his particular knowledge of business and economic affairs keeps him in touch with the concerns of constituents.
South Dorset MP Richard Drax is delighted to welcome Redwood to the constituency.
‘I have long admired John’s abilities and his views,’ says Drax. ‘We are delighted to welcome him to South Dorset and I await his speech with anticipation.’
‘John is always guaranteed to speak with great knowledge, flair and understanding of what the Conservative voter wants and needs to hear.’
‘At a time when the pressures of Coalition Government may be diluting the Conservative purpose somewhat, it will be a great pleasure to hear a true Tory speak up with an unequivocal message.’
The Supper Club will be held at the Rembrandt Hotel, Weymouth at 7pm.
