Left for Dorset in the morning on my motorcycle. I was ensconced in one of my regular meetings with the CEO of the Tri-Council, Matt Prosser, and some of his team by 1400. These meetings are in private and they cover a multitude of topics from the micro to the macro. One thing I can mention is a ministerial visit by Jake Berry next month. This is in response to my calls for Government money for our harbour walls and sea defences, without which important redevelopment cannot go ahead. Later I had a conference call with the able CEO of Agincare, Raina Summerson. She and her boss Derek Luckhurst are investing alot of their time in the constituency, not least moving their head office to Castletown, a bold move which is leading to more development in that area.
