The day began early with a visit to Lulworth fisherman Jo Miller. They are a lovely family, who have fished our waters for a long, long time. We discussed EU matters and regaining our fishing waters. Then off to Weymouth to attend a funeral of a friend's brother, who sadly passed away due to ill health. Weymouth's best-known chimney sweep, known to all as Sooty, gave a brilliant off-the-cuff address that had us all in stitches. Then it was out to meet prospective constituents and to listen to more interesting feedback on matters political.
