Up early again and off to Portland on my motorbike to beat the Bank Holiday traffic. I arrived at the Atlantic Academy at 1000 and was soon chatting to Principal Jonathan Heap and his Business Manager and parent Sam Hendrie. Our conversation was in confidence, but again I was struck at how far the Academy has come. At last the ship is turning and Sam was glowing about progress. Onwards and upwards. A mass of constituency work to follow and then back on my bike and up to Bath to dine with Jacob Rees-Mogg and his charming Association members. We had the most lovely evening, with plenty of humour and entertainment.
