In the office all morning and up to the Commons in the afternoon. First stop was 9 Downing Street where I and colleagues had a meeting with one of the Brexit ministers. Back to Commons afterwards and to another meeting with the Chief Whip. On this occasion all of the Dorset MPs, except one, met to discuss the move to unitary authorities. This cannot be allowed to drift any more and we were reassured during the meeting that the necessary decision would be made next week. Across my desk came the news that some youths in Weymouth have been behaving in an anti-social way, so I did some digging and organised a meeting with the town's Inspector. Supper with my daughter ended the day.
