A lovely, frosty morning. Up early and off to the charming Osmington Village Hall to meet our county council candidates. Over a cuppa, we chatted for more than an hour about a wide range of mainly local issues. It is kind of people to step up to the political parapet and I thanked them for doing so. Local authorities face big changes in the years ahead, although the county council elections next year will take place. After this meeting, I met new Association members who've joined us after the EU referendum. The hall was full now and again we had a good chat for more than an hour, covering a lot of local issues and one or two national ones. I recall we drew stumps at about 1230, having started at 0930.
