Another day of private meetings in the House. There's talk and more talk about who said what to whom and who was going to support, or not, the amendments listed for tomorrow's debate. Most are aimed at stopping Brexit and make no mistake on that point. The truth is that few dare to say it out loud on the Remain side. They do their work by guile. But I feel the public has seen through all their tricks and the mood in the country is more and more one of "just get on with it!". For me, it is a matter of honouring the referendum result and we must leave the EU on 29 March. Tomorrow will be another day in this sorry debacle, where faith and trust in this place is fast disappearing.
