The Supreme Court has made its decision, a decision that has extremely serious consequences on our democracy and unwritten constitution. My chief concern is that this decision gives the green light to future challenges to the workings of Parliament and decisions made by MPs. This situation is in no small way the responsibility of the Speaker, who tore up convention and enabled Opposition Parties to take control of the Order Paper, allowing them to pass law, which is normally the prerogative of the government. And let's not forget how biased Mr Bercow is in this Brexit debate. This gave unbridled power to those sworn to stop Brexit. We have debated this issue for three years now and it is shameful that we have still not left. The forces to stop Brexit are powerful and clearly well connected, but I believe the people will see through this and their decision to leave the EU will be honoured.
