Justice has been done in the case of the brother of the Manchester Arena bomber, who was jailed for at least 55 years for the murders of 22 people. He was convicted after a court heard he was "just as guilty" as his brother, who detonated the bomb at the end of an Ariana Grande concert. In education news, GCSE passes for England's pupils, in the most disrupted academic year in UK history, have risen dramatically. Schools have awarded grades after exams were cancelled, and data shows that 78.8 per cent of papers were rated grade 4 or above. It was 69.9 per cent in 2019.
