So, this week we are being given yet another chance to deny prisoners the right to vote. The Prime Minister thinks that an emphatic 'no' will put the final red line in the sand to satisfy the European Court of Human Rights. How low has our country sunk if we have to contemplate holding two votes on issues that the European courts disagree with? My view is simple. If someone cannot abide by the rules, he or she has no right to take part in making them. There is no room for compromise, nor should there be.
